Mike Barker Inducted as PHCC President
We are so excited to announce that Michael Barker, our President of Barker and Sons Plumbing, has been inducted as President of the Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC) for Orange County, Riverside and San Bernardino, CA! Induction of the 2011-2012 PHCC officers was held Saturday, July 16 on the beautiful Queen Mary in Long Beach. Mike was chosen by his fellow PHCC members in their annual election of leadership. PHCC is a hard-working organization dedicated to helping industry professionals, environmental protection, and public health. Mike has dedicated two years to the cause of establishing mandatory journeyman licensing and continuing education requirements for plumbing professionals in California.
Mike is also a member of the California State Board for PHCC and serves on the Government Affairs Committee. As PHCC President on the local level, Mike will continue to lobby on the state and national levels for this much-needed education legislation to protect public health and safety, and encourage advancement in the plumbing industry.
