Faithfully Serving Orange County for Over 40 Years

Ready to meet the plumbing company your neighbors already trust?

Why Choose Us

Most plumbers can fix a leak. We’ve spent over 40 years making sure you can trust the person holding the wrench. That’s been the Barker and Sons promise to Orange County since 1983.

After completing PHCC trade school in Los Angeles, Mike was inspired to build a plumbing company where quality workmanship and genuine care went hand in hand. Brenda shared that vision: to build a business that employees are proud to work for and homeowners know they can count on.

Four adults gather in front of a wall sign reading "VISION" and other text, holding notepads and smiling at the camera.

Together, they have built a team that embodies that philosophy. While they have five wonderful sons, every plumber they hire is treated like family — because they are.

She always says, “If I wouldn’t trust them to fix my own sink, I wouldn’t send them to yours.

When a plumber walks into your home wearing the Barker and Sons logo, you are treated with respect, and your plumbing problem is fixed with efficiency and transparency. That dedication has earned Barker and Sons recognition, including the PHCC Trade Association “Contractor of the Year” in 2011 and 2021 and Angie’s List “Super Service Award” four years in a row.

At Barker and Sons, doing plumbing the right way isn’t optional. That means using the latest technology to protect your family’s safety and help you save money for the things that matter. In drought-prone Orange County, water is precious.

We want your kids, and ours, to grow up in a community where there’s plenty to go around. This dedication to smart plumbing is what makes us Orange County’s certified green plumber. We make sure your home’s plumbing is reliable, efficient, good for the environment, and never at the expense of your comfort.

No matter how much we’ve grown, our promises haven’t changed:

For Mike and Brenda, community is everything. They’ve coached local basketball teams, stayed active in rotary clubs and the Chamber of Commerce, and along the way, they noticed something important: Orange County didn’t have a local PHCC trade school to prepare the next generation of plumbers.

To fill that gap, they launched a 4-year PHCC apprenticeship program that now trains about 150 students a year. Each year, they also sponsor one student’s tuition in honor of their late son.

It’s their way of giving back and giving the next generation of plumbers the technical skills and customer service skills they need to serve their communities well.
